You know the story line well. Brett Favre didn't want to leave Green Bay but he more or less held the team hostage. They had a new shiny toy named Aaron Rodgers waiting in the wings that was getting paid lots of money to do so.  Packers GM Ted Thompson and the Packers moved on and passed on Brett Favre's services. Favre went on to have a mediocre season with the Jets but now has reemerged with the division rival Minnesota Vikings. The match seems to be working very well for both Favre and the Vikes.  Minnesota is 6-1 and it's only loss was last week to a very tough Pittsburgh team in Pennsylvania.  But the Packers aren't playing shabby either.  They are a healthy 4-2 and QB Aaron Rodgers is lighting up the scoreboard as well as the stat sheet.

Last week he threw for 3 TD's and it was the fourth game in a row of a QB Rating over 100.  Green Bay's defense has also been superb.  Since Green Bay's loss to Minnesota earlier this season, the defense has allowed just 288 total yards and three points in winning two games.
