SportsBook Advisor - WSEX Sportsbook Review
| World Sports Exchange (WSEX) |
Summary: WSEX was the once thriving other half of Matchbook and prided itself on being a "sportsbook exchange" where players could make bet "offers" and other players would match them. The last several years has seen WSEX stiff many players and business partner Matchbook has jumped ship. WSEX is currently on the Sportsbook Advisor Blacklist.
Bulletins:
February 16, 2012 World Sports Exchange (WSEX) Customer Debt Surpasses 3/4 Million $. Our experts have added all complaints over the past three years since WSEX (Rating F) started seriously defaulting on customer withdrawals and the total bill is now over $750,000. The purpose of websites likes ours is to inform the vast internet gambling public about internet black holes like these.
January 19, 2012 Payout Report Update. We have received multiple emails from bettors this week discussing payouts. Intertops (Rating A) & 5dimes (Rating A-) each had multiple feedback emails about fast payout times and no problems. WSEX (Rating F) has had the most complaints recently.
November 8, 2011 Latest WSEX Scam Offer. World Sports Exchange is a "deposit only sportsbook" meaning if you win anything you probably will never see it. MORE
September 13, 2011 Blacklisted Sportsbook WSEX (Rating F) Appeals to Public with Big Bonus Offer. WSEX offers biggest bonus to date for their company for transfers and deposits. There is only one problem: They are blacklisted and owe a fortune to previous clients. details and see the email ad
July 5, 2011 WSEX (Rating F) Paying Some Owed Players. Reports that some owed players are receiving payments. WSEX received infusion of cash when it's better half, Matchbook, separated from it. WSEX players are owed nearly 1/2 million dollars combined.
February 27, 2011 Matchbook (Rating C+) Announces Withdrawal from US Market. As part of the new business plan for Matchbook, it plans to stop taking wagers from U.S. players as well as fully separate from it's "deadbeat" cousin WSEX (Rating F). Existing U.S. players will receive directions directly from Matchbook about final payouts.
February 10, 2011 Today is Blacklist Day. We are moving two sportsbooks that have proven to be accepting deposits and not making payouts for a very long time to "blacklist status". They have been contacted several times with no answer. We want to urge players to stay away from them by putting them on the blacklist. They are WSEX (World Sports Exchange) and BetOnline247.
January 11, 2011 WSEX (Rating D-) Customer Receives Payment. All hope is not lost for you WSEX clients out there waiting on your payments. It appears payments are trickling out. And with Matchbook (Rating C+) leaving behind some cash in it's divorce from WSEX, the industry is hopeful that this will give WSEX the infusion of cash needed to start paying down their enormous debt.
January 6, 2011 MatchBook (C+) to Separate from WSEX (D-). Matchbook brand is separating from the WSEX brand. The reports are that WSEX stake in Matchbook will be bought out and hopes are that the cash infusion will allow WSEX to pay it's many "no-pays" and "slow-pays".
October 4, 2010 WSEX Claiming to Be Paying Slow Pay Victims. Today the troubled sportsbook has claimed it has made some huge payments totaling over $100K in owed money to players. There are still at least a dozen players yet to be paid. This is a huge step in the right direction and shows that WSEX has received a large infusion of cash. Other victims will be crossing their fingers hoping they are next to be paid.
September 2, 2010 WSEX Payout Confirmed. One of the players claims that we have been monitoring has been satisfied. Player receives payment for request made three months ago. WSEX is in terminable shape, the only reason we have not rated them at F and added to blacklist is because they still squeak out payments from time to time. We strongly urge all visitors to steer clear of this outfit.
August 13, 2010 Matchbook (Rating C+) Denies WSEX (Rating D-) is Same Company. Sportsbook Advisor wrote to Matchbook earlier this month inquiring if both companies were under the same ownership. It is widely known that these two companies share software, servers, and location.... MORE.
August 4, 2010 WSEX Payments Trickle In. WSEX (World Sports Exchange) has had trouble paying it's players in recent years. This is in part why we have them rated D-, basically as low as you can go without being blacklisted. We have this week received two emails from former players claiming payments were made to them from previous payout requests. WSEX still has dozens of outstanding claims totaling well over 1/4 of a million dollars.
July 14, 2010 More Glimpses of Problems with Matchbook (Rating C+). Matchbook has had problems recently with it's software. This coupled with it's ties to host and huge sportsbook failure WSEX (Rating D-) leads us to recommend staying away from them entirely.
July 4, 2010 WSEX Slow Pay Complaints Received. Sportsbook Advisor has received three new slow pay complaints about WSEX (World Sports Exchange) in the last week. We already have them rated at D- and warn any potential players to steer clear. This company is obviously insolvent.
June 17, 2010 WSEX and Matchbook Dowgrade. WSEX (World Sports Exchange) total rip off amount is now over 30 players for more than 1 quarter of a million dollars. Because of Matchbooks ties to this book we are downgrading them as well until they are proven not to be the same entity. We cannot risk having them at a high rating and then people get stiffed by them. WSEX is now a D- rating and Matchbook is now a C+.
February 3, 2010 WSEX (Rating D) Confiscates players funds . We received a report this morning explaining how a player at WSEX was able to predict cards in a casino game because the software had a glitch in it. The player racked up over $14,000 in wins. WSEX confiscated the funds and shut down the player. Many in the industry think it was unfair of WSEX to take this action since the player did nothing on his part to cheat but simply took advantage of a glitch. WSEX was a highly respected Sportsbook/Casino until recently they have fell on hard times.
May 21, 2009 WSEX Downgraded to D. This one time industry heavyweight is really struggling with payouts. Players keep reporting waiting months before receiving any type of payment.
March 27, 2009 WSEX (Rating C) still not paying several customers. Of the two that wrote in, one has not had a response in 14 days and the other is waiting on payment since early December.
March 6, 2009 WSEX (Rating B) downgraded to C Rating upon SA receiving many complaints about slow pays.
November 9, 2007 - WSEX Downgraded after several failed email contact attempts
