FrankGore1Game one on Sunday afternoon is scheduled for 3:00 PM EST and pits the Atlanta Falcons vs. the S.F. 49ers.  The initial spread was introduced at SF -3.5. Since then it has climbed to as high as 5 points at one place (Bovada) and is about 4 points most other places.  The total is sitting at 48.5 points. The public jumped heavily on SF when the line came out. As of right now the slightly higher line has attracted some blowback and the current stats show that 65% of the public has wagered on SF to cover the spread. The over is getting pounded to the tune of 79% as of very early Sunday morning.  The moneyline (SF -210) has 62% of the public going that way.

ray-riceGame two features the New England Patriots playing host to the Baltimore Ravens. The game is scheduled for 6:30 PM EST.  The line came out at New England -9.5.  In the SBA office we felt this was a little high, originally assigning the number -8.5 before the official spreads came out.  We proved to have a better number because the line has since moved  from 9.5 down to 7.5. The line shift is curios, however, because the public still likes the favorite here  betting the Patriots 64%.  It is important to remember there are more factors in moving a line than just overall public money.  The public is also hammering Over the total 51.5 points (74%).  Regarding the moneyline, the public is on Baltimore +300 (70%).
