Stanley Cup Game 7 – Sportsbook Report

It’s do or die for both teams in the 2019 NHL Stanley Cup Final. Game 7 will be played tonight at 8:00 pm on NBC. The betting line currently has Boston as a -175 favorite making St. Louis a +160 underdog. You can also bet the puck line with Boston -1.5 goals (+160) and St. Louis +1.5 (-180).
We have spoken with two sportsbooks this morning about the action leading up to the big game. The first sportsbook have heavy lopsided action on Boston to the tune of 82%. They also had lopsided Under action, 69% on under 5.5 goals. The second sportsbooks had 62% of action on Boston.
Even though the general public is generally cheering for St. Louis because they have never won the Cup, the betting public is taking the home team. I think there is some value betting the Blues tonight however. St. Louis is 4-1 SU in its last 5 games on the road and betting against the public as well as betting for the home spoiler is always a favorite activity of mine.
