Monday Night Football in Week 15 features the Carolina Panthers visiting the Washington Redskins in an NFC clash. While Washington is battling for a wildcard spot in the NFC, the hopes of Carolina reaching the postseason are so faint, the team will be playing for little else but its own pride.
Carolina quarterback Cam Newton has seen success when playing against the Redskins during his career.
In three career games versus Washington, Newton has led his Panthers to a record of 3-0 straight up and against the spread. In those same games, Carolina has outscored the Redskins 98-49 and Newton has thrown 7 touchdown passes and no interceptions.
On the other side of the ball, Washington is playing well against opponents that have a losing record. Washington is 8-2 ATS in its past 10 games against opponents that fit in that category, like Carolina does at 5-8.

Even worse are the Panthers on the road. Carolina is 0-6 SU over its past 6 games as a visitor, against teams with a record above .500.
