Three Sunday NCAA Lines to Pick From

The NCAA Tournament continues its round of 32 with eight more games on Sunday. Below are three of the Sunday matchups.

Iowa (No. 7) vs. Gonzaga (No. 2) 

The current line on this game has Gonzaga favored by 6.5 points with the point total sitting on 136.5. Iowa is 22-11 straight up and 15-13-1 against the spread. The Hawkeyes routed Davidson 83-52 in their opener as a favorite by 2.5 points. The Hawkeyes are 7-1 SU as well as 6-1-1 ATS in their past 8 games overall. This will be only the second time since the end of January the Hawkeyes will be dogs. Gonzaga is 33-2 SU and 16-14-2 ATS. The Bulldogs defeated North Dakota State in round one 86-76, but failed to cover as a 17-point favorite. Gonzaga must play better to beat Iowa.

Pick: Gonzaga less the points. 

Oregon (No. 8) vs. Wisconsin (No. 1)

The current line has Wisconsin favored by 12 points with the point total at 141. Oregon is 26-9 SU and 19-15 ATS. The Ducks are reaching their potential at just the right time. In the first round, they upset Oklahoma State 79-73. Over their past 14 games played, the Ducks are 12-2 SU while 11-3 ATS. Last season in the tournament Oregon lost to Wisconsin 85-77. Wisconsin is 32-3 SU and 18-16-1 ATS. The Badgers this season were only 1-7 ATS covering spread of double-digits as the favorite. In the first round as 20-point chalk, the Badgers won 86-72 but did not cover.

West Virginia (No. 5) vs. Maryland (No. 4)

The current line has the game as a pick ‘em with the point total on 137.5. West Virginia is 24-9 SU and 18-13 ATS. The Mountaineers defeated Buffalo in round one 68-62 as favorites by 4.5 points. It was the first UNDER game in the past five for West Virginia. Maryland is 28-6 SU and 13-16-2 ATS. The Terrapins defeated Valparaiso in round one 65-62, but did not cover as 5-point chalk. Maryland has covered the spread 5 of the past 7 games played with one push.
