Justin Fields is one of the best quarterbacks in the country. Fields has played at Ohio State for just one season but he has a phenomenal resume. He transferred from Georgia and took over at quarterback, fitting like a glove in the offense.

Fields led Ohio State to a Big Ten championship and an appearance in the College Football Playoff and was a Heisman Trophy finalist. Now he is favored to win the award next season.

ESPN analyst Laura Rutledge appeared on Get Up! and picked the 21-year-old to win the Heisman Trophy.

“I would go ahead and say that Justin Fields wins the Heisman,” Rutledge said. “I think that is going to do more with the type of competition that Ohio State is going to have.”

Last year he completed 238 of 354 passes for 3,273 yards and 41 touchdowns with three interceptions in 14 games. He had a 67.2 completion percentage and he can be even better because he will be more comfortable and familiar in his second season with the team.

Fields is not a full-on dual-threat quarterback but he still ran for 484 yards and 10 touchdowns on 137 carries, averaging 3.5 yards per carry. His low interception total proves that he is a great decision-maker.
