Bulletins:

The Book on this page has been closed. BetLasPalmas was an "Up and Coming" sportsbook that did well for several years but fell on hard times and started failing to pay people begginning early 2009. After the bottom basically fell completely out, LasPalmas was sold to Bookmaker/CRIS Group at the end of 2009. They have since migrated all the clients and shut the site down. This page is no longer to be updated. See Bookmaker Page for news on them.

September 28, 2010 Las Palmas Site Shut. In December 2009, Bookmaker (Rating B-) took ownership of struggling BetLasPalmas. It was unknown if they would continue to run the brand or absorb their players completely. We have that answer. All BetLasPalmas visitors get a splash page now redirecting them to log into Bookmaker. There is even a cheesy image of a fish jumping from a smaller bowl into a larger one. Click Here to SEE

December 27, 2009 BetCRIS/Bookmaker (Rating A) Group Acquires Struggling LasPalmas. Bookmaker Company absorbs all players and debts and has already started paying off back owed players.

November 4, 2009 LasPalmas (Rating D) still playing catchup. We have information that payments to owed players are starting to trickle in. LasPalmas first showed signs of struggle almost a year ago and still owes over $100,000 in back payouts.

October 22, 2009 LasPalmas (Rating D) Offering some 100% bonus to sign up and deposit. Offering this high of a bonus is a red-herring and usually shows desperate measures for a failing book. Stay away.

June 23, 2009 BetLasPalmas Downgraded to D. Large payout requestor has been waiting for many months and now account has been closed and communication has halted. This one time trustworthy book started losing control of it's operation at the start of this year. Stay away.

May 12, 2009 BetLasPalmas Downgraded to D+. LasPalmas still struggling to payout. Some players months ago started getting the run around about payout times. The book completed a surge which paid a majority of owed players last month. But this week again, there have been delayed payouts. This onetime B rated book is really struggling and we are downgrading them to D+ until further notice.

April 18, 2009 Las Palmas (Rating C-) almost done playing "catch-up". Most owed players report receiving payouts. Most large balances have been paid down. We are keeping the rating at C- to keep people weary and alert.

March 21, 2009 BetLasPalmas still struggling to pay players requesting larger payouts. Management tells players to expect some payment by next month. Downgrade to C- is to keep potential clients weary.

March 9, 2009 BetLasPalmas (Rating C) receives infusion of cash and slow pay players report receiving payouts.

February 20, 2009 LasPalmas (Rating B) downgraded to C rating. Players write in and complain about very slow pays. LasPalmas has addressed the situation and claim they are waiting on frozen funds. Regardless, this is bad sign and worthy of a downgrade to keep players alert.

January 18 , 2009 - Las Palmas (Rating B-) Upgraded - Several clients of Las Palmas (BetLasPalmas.com) write in and say they are happy with service and received pay outs for contest winnings they have accrued.  They all said that when they requested pay outs, they did have to jump through the usual "hoops"ie. copy of credit card used to make original deposit, drivers license, and sign release forms, but they got their cash within 3-4 days.

September 16, 2008 - LasPalmas downgraded just two weeks after being upgraded. Player steps forward saying that he has been waiting for two months for $5,000 payment. UPDATE: In October , players still owed report seeing payments. Although they are smaller incremental payments, Las Palmas says their hands are tied because of limited payment processors and will continue to make smaller payments and chip away at total until it is paid in full.
