World Series Odds Posted

12:01 am EST – The St. Louis Cardinals lost to the San Francisco Giants tonight in a 9-0 blowout sending San Francisco back to the world series for the second time in three years.  They will face the Detroit Tigers who are fresh off of a sweep of the Yankees. The Giants will have home field advantage which in baseball means that of the scheduled seven games (seven games if necessary) the Giants will host four of them.  San Francisco has a better rated overall pitching staff than Detroit but Detroit has the best pitcher in the game in Justin Verlander and the best offensive player this year Miguel Cabrera who finished as the triple crown winner. Despite the home field advantage and better overall pitching  the Giants are World Series Underdogs.

The line was issued tonight at:
Detroit Tigers -160
San Francisco Giants +140

This line is sure to change a bit but should pretty much stay around the 1 1/2 to 1 ratio in favor of Detroit.
We like Detroit to win this series and actually picked them to win at the start of the season.
