Week 12 is in the history book for college football. Here is a quick look at the betting numbers. The favorites were 46-15 straight up and 34-27 against the spread. Home teams were 36-26 SU and 28-33 ATS. The Over/Under cashed out at 33-28 for the weekend.

The biggest underdogs to cash out straight up were Michigan State at +14.5 over Ohio State by the score of 17-14 and New Mexico State at +14.5 over Louisiana-Lafayette by a score of 37-34.

The biggest favorite that covered by Alabama at -40.5 over Charleston Southern by a score of 56-6.

Top 25 Teams

For a few teams in the Top 25 Saturday was a difficult day. Ohio State the defending national champions lost to Michigan State even though the Spartans used a backup quarterback, its defense shut down the Buckeyes holding Ohio State to only 132 total yards.

Houston lost to Connecticut 20-17 as a 7.5-point road chalk.

Navy was on the road in AAC action and the No. 19 ranked team defeated Tulsa to go to 9-1 SU and 8-2 ATS.

Boston College fought bravely against Notre Dame but fell 19-16. The UNDER cashed again for Boston College, which is 8-1 UNDER in its past nine games.

Clemson beat Wake Forest 33-13, but failed to cover. Iowa beat Purdue by 20 points but did not cover either.
