NFL Week 11 Betting Results

Scott Morris | November 21, 2016

Week 11 is in the books with the exception of Monday Night Football in Mexico City. Here is a quick look at some of the betting results for the week.

Favorites were 10-3 straight up and 8-5 against the spread. Home teams were 8-5 SU and 6-7 ATS. The over/under finished the week with the UNDER cashing in 11 of 13 games.

The biggest underdog to win outright was Tampa Bay +7 over Kansas City 19-17.

The biggest favorites to cover were New England -12 over San Francisco 30-17, Pittsburgh -9 over Cleveland 24-9 and Dallas -7 over Baltimore 27-17.

Tampa Bay won and covered on the road again with its 2-point victory over Kansas City. The Buccaneers are now 4-1 SU and ATS on the road, while only 1-4 SU and ATS at home.

Miami remained on the west coast following last week’s win over San Diego. On Sunday, the Dolphins rallied late to win 14-10 over the Rams. Miami is 5-0 SU and 4-0-1 ATS over its past 5 games played.

The OVER through the first 10 weeks of the regular season had cashed over 55% of the time. That ended during Week 11 with 11 of the 13 NFL games cashing UNDER.

In three battles between AFC teams, the UNDER cashed in each. In five matchups between teams in the NFC, the UNDER cashed in 3 of the 5. In the five games between teams from the AFC and NFC, the UNDER cashed in all 5. After such a strong week for the UNDER, the 11-week total has the OVER ahead 82-76 or 52%.

Bengals running back Giovani Bernard tore his ACL, and will miss the remainder of the season.

Buffalo running back LeSean McCoy hurt his thumb and did not return during the Bills game against the Bengals.

Eagles running back Ryan Mathews injured a medial collateral ligament. Darren Sproles another Eagles running back hurt his ribs and did not return.

Seattle running back C.J. Prosise hurt his shoulder and should miss the Seahawks next game.
