NFL Draft Prop Bets and Picks

Scott Morris | April 26, 2018

Posted at 2:45pm EST – The 2018 NFL draft starts tonight at 7 pm EST. Betting on prop bets for the draft has become quite popular. Prop bets on this event have been popular for years with online sportsbooks but now Las Vegas is getting in on the action.  William Hill US was the first Vegas sportsbook to post the draft props this year. It is the second year in which these types of bets are available to the betting public in Las Vegas.

The prop bets took some time to get approved by the Nevada Gaming Control Board because these are the only sports bets that aren’t decided on the field or court.

Betting on draft props has grown in popularity. “We had 20 different ways to bet the draft in 2017,” Michael Grodsky, vice president of marketing and public relations at William Hill, told ESPN. “This year, we have 62.”
