Sportsbook ‘The Greek’ Closes Shop

Longtime internet sportsbook The Greek (TheGreek.com) announced it is ceasing betting operations as of today. All clients will be transferred to BetCris, another internet bookie facing similar market areas.
‘The Greek’ left the American market 8 years ago in order to avoid any legal entanglements. The original report we posted and the letter contained therein can be seen here: TheGreek leaves US Market.
It is because of this exit eight years ago that The Greek has closed operations (as stated on their Twitter account):
They also go on to say that they have not been able to keep up with the industry’s innovations:
