Boxing: Ruiz Jr. vs Joshua Rematch Odds

Josuhua Ruiz rematch odds

I guess what everyone is thinking is the first fight had to have been a fluke. Heavy underdog Andy Ruiz Jr. came into a championship bout and solidly beat then champion Anthony Joshua. These beliefs are reflected in the rematch odds. The fight is set for December 7, 2019

Some commentators said that Joshua “didn’t look right” in the first fight and others said he looked “off”. Was he partying the night before? Who knows. That is what Mike Tyson said cost him the fight against Buster Douglas three decades ago. But, part of being a champion is being able to control yourself. If you party the night before a championship bout, not only are you a complete imbecile, you deserve to lose.

Still, regardless of what the reason or excuse is, Ruiz is a tough fighter. He is 33-1 and the current champion. I don’t see how anyone can still underestimate this man.
