The Tampa Buccaneers punched their ticket to the Super Bowl by beating Green Bay at home. This will make Tampa Bay the first ever team to play a Super Bowl in their home stadium.
The KC Chiefs made short work of the Buffalo Bills. After the Bills jumped ahead 9-0, the KC Chiefs were able to get going and ended up beating the brakes off of Buffalo. It wasn’t as close as the score indicates. Last minute scoring by Buffalo made it looks closer than it really was.
The point spread factors in the “home field advantage” for Tampa. There will probably be a limited amount of fans allowed at the game because of Covid. Also, there will be plenty of K.C. fans that will but Super Bowl tickets and make the trip. Soo, the home field advantage isn’t the usual full three points that it would be during a regular season game. Its more like 2 or 2.5 points.
