The track is 1.5 miles long and the surface is dirt. NBCSports will be broadcasting the event live. You can bet on the race at the park or online at various sportsbooks.
The race will feature Kentucky Derby champion Rich Strike but will not be featuring The Preakness winner Early Voting. This is considered to be a shame with many racing enthusiasts’ eyes as they were hoping to see the winners from the first two Triple Crown series races face off against one another.
Derby winner Rich Strike is not even the favorite in this race. That distinction goes to a horse named Mo Donegal, a beautiful bay colored colt which placed fifth in the Kentucky Derby earlier this year.
Three year old colt We the People (pictured) is next up with odds of +330. This horse has 3 first place wins in 4 overall starts. Many are looking at this horse to win the Belmont. We are going to go ahead and pick this horse to win it as well. We like the way this horse runs and should be a good match for this track. We are picking We the People/Mo Donegal/Rich Strike in that order for our trifecta.
