Browns qb

The Cleveland Browns are all set to host the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, 1st October for Week 4 of the 2023 NFL season. The game will be nothing less of a battle since supremacy in the AFC North will be the prize.

The Browns are coming off of a glorious 27-3 win against the Tennessee Titans in their third game of the season. The Ravens, on the other hand, lost 22-19 in overtime against the Indianapolis Colts.

Cleveland Browns

The Browns managed to outdo themselves when they won against the Titans in Week 3.

People had their doubts that the team wouldn’t be able to recover from losing their running back Nick Chubb, for the rest of the entire season. However, they exceeded expectations in every way.

Quarterback Deshaun Watson was the man of the night as he finished with 27 of 33 passes for 289 yards and also got two touchdowns. With no interceptions, he kept the ball away from the defense and led the team towards victory. Running back Pierre Strong Jr. also did quite a good job, running the ball 6 times for 27 yards. Their passing game mainly featured wide receiver Amari Cooper, who caught 7 balls for 116 yards.

The Browns managed to finish with a huge total of 341 yards, dominating over the field in any way possible.

Their roster is filled with skill and talent and they are more than capable of completely taking over their upcoming games.

Baltimore Ravens

The Week 3 game seemed like an easy win for the Ravens since the opposition, the Colts, were without their quarterback Anthony Richardson. Despite this, the Ravens made several mistakes that did more damage than expected. They failed to deal with the pressure and ultimately, lost in overtime.

Ravens QBQuarterback Lamar Jackson completed 22 of 31 passes for 202 yards. However, he couldn’t manage a single touchdown or interception in the entire game. There were two fumbles from the player, one of which he lost and made the play even more difficult. Running back Gus Edwards tried to fix the situation, averaging 4.6 yards per carry on 11 attempts before he had to leave during the fourth quarter to be evaluated for a concussion.  Rookie Wide receiver Zay Flowers picked up 48 yards on 8 receptions but it still wasn’t enough to make up for the rest of the injury-riddled roster.

The Ravens ran the ball 37 different times and got 186 yards (an average of 5.0 yards per attempt).

They desperately need to take a closer look at what went wrong in the game and improve accordingly so that it doesn’t happen again in the future.

What is next?

The Cleveland Browns and the Baltimore Ravens are 2-1 after Week 3 and the Week 4 matchup will answer a lot of questions about who is capable enough to take the lead in the AFC North. In the end the Browns are at home and are coming off a win. The Ravens are reeling a bit after dropping a game to the heavy underdog Colts. We have to take the Browns here.
