Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Tennessee Titans Free Pick

Titans

As we now proceed towards Week 11 of the NFL regular season , all eyes turn towards an intriguing matchup between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, November 19. The Jaguars, sitting comfortably with a solid 6-3 record, are eager to solidify their playoff contention. Meanwhile, the Titans, with a less-than-ideal 3-6 record, are in desperate need of a turnaround to keep their postseason hopes alive.

Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars had been on a roll, showcasing a great combination of offensive power and defensive prowess, until their Week 10 match with San Francisco 49ers, which ended their five-day winning streak.

The Jacksonville Jaguars faced the San Francisco 49ers following a bye week for both teams. Unfortunately, the Jaguars suffered a significant setback; a lopsided 34-3 defeat against the 49ers. Despite the discouraging outcome, a few positive highlights emerged from the game.

Notably, wide receiver Christian Kirk stood out, securing six receptions for an impressive 104 yards. He was the lone Jaguars player to achieve over 30 receiving yards or 50 total yards of scrimmage during the match.

However, the game took a decisive turn when, trailing 20-3, Kirk fumbled the ball at the 49ers’ six-yard line, pretty much sealing the fate of the Jaguars.

On the defensive front, linebacker Foye Oluokun showcased great play with two sacks and three tackles for loss, becoming one of the few Jaguars defenders to make a significant impact. Meanwhile, linebacker Devin Lloyd contributed seven solo tackles, although he faced challenges in coverage.

Rookie running back Tank Bigsby, operating behind veteran D’Ernest Johnson, also played a limited role, finishing the game with five yards on three carries.

Despite the defeat, individual performances give the fans a glimmer of optimism as the Jaguars return for their battle with the Titans this Sunday.

Tennessee Titans

On the flip side, the Titans are facing an uphill battle. In their second consecutive away game last week, the Titans faced the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Despite rookie quarterback Will Levis putting up a good performance, keeping the Titans within one score until late in the third quarter, the Buccaneers ultimately secured a 20-6 victory by preventing the Titans from reaching the end zone.

During the game against Tampa Bay, Levis completed 19 of 39 passes, accumulating 199 yards but also throwing one interception. Notably, his 699 total passing yards in his first three starts rank third in franchise history for a rookie quarterback.

On the defense, the Titans managed to create a turnover with an interception by cornerback Roger McCreary. Additionally, they secured three sacks, distributed among outside linebacker Harold Landry III, defensive lineman Denico Autry, and nose tackle Teair Tart. Landry, in particular, had quite a consistent performance with four sacks over a four-game span.

Looking ahead, the Titans are eager to secure their first away win of the season in the final game of a challenging seven-week stretch.

Week 11 Free Pick

All statistics suggest that the Jaguars have a significantly higher chance of emerging victorious against the Titans.
