2023 Army Navy Game Third Lowest Betting Total of All Time

December 4, 2023
Army Navy Game Preview for 2023

Recently, we posted an article about the lowest betting totals in college football history. Three of the lowest totals in history were within the last past 15 months and they all have one thing in common: Iowa. The Hawkeyes great defense and anemic offense = super low scoring totals (over/unders). Now there is a new addition to that list and it doesn’t feature Iowa.

The 2023 edition of the Army Navy game features a 28 point total, which lands it firmly on the all-time low totals list at #3. These two service academies celebrate tradition and that goes for their offense schemes as well. Their triple option offenses harken back to days of yore when most every team in the country ran it in one way or another.

Army (West Point) has rushed for 2,303 yards on the ground this season. They have scored 19 TD’s in this fashion. They’ve passed for 1180 yards and just 6 TD’s. Army averages 20 PPG on offense and allows 20 PPG on defense.

Navy (Annapolis) has rushed for 2,205 yards with 16 TD’s. They have only passed for 1,089 yards with 9 TD’s.  The Midshipmen score just 18.27 PPG and allow 22.91.

BetOnline.ag has Army listed as -2 favorites and -128 on the moneyline.

The game will be played December 9th at 3:00 pm EST in Gillette Stadium. This is a neutral site.
