Boxing isn’t what it used to be. This is evident by the fact that the biggest fight in quite a while is an exhibition bout between a 58 year old man and a fighter half his age. Yes, we are talking about Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul, a fight that will be shown on Netflix Friday night.
Jake Paul is 10-1 with 7 KO’s entering this matchup. Even though he grew to fame by being a Youtube personality, he has assembled some fairly impressive fight performances. However, Mike Tyson in his prime would most likely level this guy in the first round.
Mike Tyson is a career 50-6 and was, at one point, the heavyweight champion of the world. Unfortunately for Mike, he has lost 3 of his last 4 fights. Age, as it turns out, is not just a number. When you hit a certain age you simply don’t have the strength and stamina like you did in your 20’s.

If this fight were held ten or fifteen years ago I would be riding the Tyson train all the way. But the guy is pushing 60 years old. I think if you want to risk your hard-earned money on an exhibition fight then Paul at 1/2 is the way to go.
