NBA Semi Finals Series Odds and Sharp Action

If you asked most fans which teams would be in the NBA Semi Finals, they wouldn’t have picked the four teams we have. With the exception of the OKC Thunder, these four teams are a surprise to most people.

The Minnesota Timberwolves were a 6 seed, the Knicks were a 3 seed, and the Pacers were a 4 seed coming into the post-season. The T-Wolves caught fire at just the right time and have been on a tear, dispatching of the Lakers in round one (4 games to 1) and Golden State in round two (also 4 games to 1). If there is any underdog to ride this late in the playoffs it is Minnesota.

East Semi Finals Series Odds

Indy and New York ae both playing good basketball and pretty easily defeated their opponents as well. The Pacers won round one and two in an impressive 4 games to 1 ratio. The Knicks won both of their series 4 games to 2.

AS far as oddsmakers are concerned, the home court advantage is the big difference in this series, and they have the Knicks favored here.

Like I mentioned earlier, a value bet here is Minnesota at +550. The Pacers at +750 is also valuable in my opinion.
