Chris Paul is Back with the Clippers – NBA Championship Odds Adjusted

It’s official, Chris Paul is rejoining the L.A. Clippers. The guard played for the Clippers from 2011 to 2017 and was a 5-time All Star there. He averaged 17.8 PPG and just under 10 APG in his first stint.
Paul is a little longer in the tooth these days. He still is an excellent role-player in what will be his 21st season in the league. Last season, he averaged just 8.8 PPG as well as 7.4 APG. See his entire stat history here
The Clippers have been very serious about making a run for the championship this season. They’ve signed Bradley Beal, John Collins, Brook Lopez and now Chris Paul this month. These moves took their championship odds from +3300 to +1800 at BetOnline.ag , essentially cutting their odds in half.
In the West, the Clippers are +1000 odds to win that conference. And they are now +160 favorites to win the Pacific division over Lebron’s Lakers (+165) and Steph’s Warriors (+265).
James Harden is back for the Los Angeles Clippers. He re-signed with the Clippers on a two-year, $81.5 million contract on June 29, 2025, after opting out of his previous player option for the 2025-26 season. Last year he averaged a healthy and respectable 22.8 PPG.
