NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Odds for 2025
Crappy Pre-season NFL games on TV can only mean one thing, NFL football is almost here! Yes, pre-season games are a great way to get a look at some of the players deep on the roster (many of which you will never hear from again) but the quality football isn’t great. Coaches use these games to plug-and-play backups to see what they look like in-person. They already have a good idea who their starting lineup will be.
Rookies and free agent signings are the players that get most of the reps in pre-season. Even if these players do well in pre-season it doesn’t necessarily translate to NFL regular season success.
Skylar Thompson of the Miami Dolphins comes to mind. For a few years, this guy would light it up in Miami Dolphins’ pre-season games. Then when they put him in real games, he withered like a spring flower. He only managed to throw 58% completions, 721 yards, 1 TD and 3 INT’s in 2 seasons with the Fins.
Anyway, here is a list of rookies and their odds to win offensive rookie of the year. Below that odds list we will also list the winners of this award the last 10 seasons.

Ashton Jeanty +275
Cameron Ward +400
Omarion Hampton +750
Travis Hunter +1200
Tetairoa McMillan +1200
TreVeyon Henderson +1600
Shedeur Sanders +2000
Tyler Shough +2000
Emeka Egbuka +2200
Tyler Warren +2500
Matthew Golden +2800
Colston Loveland +2800
Kaleb Johnson +2800
R.J. Harvey +2800
Jaxson Dart +3300
Players like Jeanty and Ward are expected to start right away. That’s why they are the heavy favorites. If you are looking for a longshot to play, why not Jaxson Dart at +3300? He is listed as QB3 on the Giants’ roster but ahead of him are two players who are pretty much cooked (Russell Wilson & Jameis Winston). I could see Dart being the starter by week 6 and if he manages to pull off more wins than losses, he will be a very good candidate for the award.
