In their 2024 matchup, Iowa State beat Kansas State 29-21, running effectively (144 yards) despite K-State’s strong run defense, and controlling the clock. K-State’s passing game was limited, highlighting Iowa State’s secondary strength. The fact that many of the same players who beat KSU will be returning for Iowa State gives the clear edge to Iowa State.
