Guess Which NFL Coach is Heavily Favored to be Fired First – Complete Odds List
A popular prop bet which exists for pretty much every major sport is betting on which coach will be fired first. The odds are based on last season and the way this season starts. NFL week 1 is in the books and we already have our hot seat candidate.
Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel is the heavy favorite to be fired first. Just a few seasons ago he was held up as the golden boy and future of NFL coaching. His offensive schemes were a little quirky and that caught teams off guard. This combined with playmakers like Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill made Miami a team to be feared. They even hung 70 points on Denver. This would not last long.
Since that season Miami has been in the gutter and rumors are swirling about that Miami is undisciplined in the locker room and that McDaniel has lost respect and control. He is now the odds-on favorite to be the first coach canned in 2025. Every other coach on the board is distant to his enormous -400 odds. However, if Miami comes out and looks impressive against New England this weekend, that could change the odds quite a bit.
