2026 World Series Odds Already Posted

They are still partying in LA and in various hotels around Toronto from the big World Series win tonight. The series was an exciting one, even if you aren’t a fan of either team. It came down to extra innings in game 7 and what more could you want than that?
Creating futures odds is something sportsbooks have become very good at. Yes, a great deal can change between now and the start of the 2026 MLB season, but these variables are baked into the odds. Three of them have been by the New York Yankees, with the most recent being from 1998 to 2000. The only other baseball team to win three straight World Series was the Oakland Athletics from 1972 to 1974.
