Playoff Teams Announced – New Championship Odds Posted
The committee has selected the 12 teams that will be playing for the college football national championship. Despite Indiana’s defeat of Ohio State last evening, the Buckeyes are favored to win it all, again. Indiana is a close second as far as odds are concerned.
Some surprises amongst the grumbling fans were the decisions to put Tulane and JMU into the mix and leave teams like Notre Dame and BYU out. The argument is, of course, strength of schedule. JMU simply doesn’t play that many top-tier teams. The only time they did, they lost 28-14 at Louisville, and Louisville isn’t really a top team.
