NFL Coach of the Year Odds Entering Final Week of the Season

Scott Morris | December 30, 2025
NFL coach of the year odds week 18 of 2025

It has been an exciting few weeks in the NFL. Teams are competing as hard as they have all season for playoff spots. Some of the most recent primetime games have been absolute gems. The Bears at 49ers and the Seattle at Rams games come to mind. The Bears at 49ers contest was one of the best games I’ve seen in recent years, coming down to the very last play of the game. Of course, Frisco was able to survive and are currently in a position for the #1 seed should they beat Seattle this weekend.

49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan is #2 on the betting odds board to win coach of the year at +140 (BetOnline.ag). His team has been excellent this season, and he really deserves consideration especially when you factor in all of the injuries the Niners have endured.

Number one on the list is Mike Vrable at -130. His Patriots look unbeatable at the moment behind the excellent play of 2nd year QB Drake Maye. If Denver loses to KC and the Patriots dispatch of the Dolphins, the #1 seed belongs to New England. See NFL Playoff picture here

There are four other coaches on the odds board for 2025 NFL Coach of the Year. Below you can see these odds as listed at BetOnline.ag – a sportsbook with an A+ rating and a current signup bonus of 50%.

Mike Macdonald (SEA) +650

Liam Coen (JAX) +900

Ben Johnson (CHI) +1200

Sean Payton (DEN) +6000
