BetMGM Sees Record Profits in 2025

2025 is two months in the rearview mirror and the numbers are in. BetMGM launched operations in 2018 and reported record growth and net revenue for 2025. The app is available in 23 states and the District of Columbia. Combined operations of BetMGM have netted $2.8B, up $600M from the previous year (2024 $2.2B). The sportsbook alone generated over $900M of that revenue, up from $550M in 2024.

2025 was a record year for BetMGM, outperforming expectations with the execution of our refined strategy coming together at scale.” said Adam Greenblatt, BetMGM CEO.

He went on to say “Q4 2025 saw record performances, completing a year where both iGaming and Online Sports achieved step-change results, reflecting robust engagement, improved player economics, sharper player management, and continued platform and product enhancements.”

But Greenblatt wasn’t finished talking about the successful year stating “BetMGM’s meaningfully improved profitability and material EBITDA generation now sees us returning cash to our parent companies and marks a clear inflection in our growth trajectory. Looking ahead to 2026 and beyond, the strong underlying metrics and health of the business continue to reinforce our confidence in our outlook as we enter the next phase of growth.”

Onshore licensed sportsbook are growing at a steady pace. Thea mad dash to win the overall market share has seen winners and losers. BetMGM is clearly a winner at this point. Other sportsbooks have failed miserably along the way, suffering from mismanagement and terrible marketing deals. BetMGM had their ducks in a row from day one and it is really paying off for them.
