Free Pick Article – Falcons at Saints – NFL

The Atlanta Falcons and the New Orleans Saints square off in the Louisiana Superdome on Sunday (1 pm ET, FOX). These two teams are both coming off of impressive performances and will meet up with momentum.

The Saints are 3-point favorites and the over/under total is 50 in NFL Odds.

The Saints managed to pull off a nail biting victory last week. In the win, they lost a key player to their offense, Reggie Bush. Bush has never produced the numbers that most people expected him to, but he definitely was a huge player in taking the attention off the defense. The Saints have won their last 5 games, however, and look to continue their success with or without Bush.

The Saints have been one of the best home teams in the league, winning 9 of their last 11 games at home. This will be tough for the Falcons as they have won just 2 of their last 7 games on the road. The Falcons did have an impressive performance last week, however, that should bring the team some confidence in New Orleans.

The Falcons managed to destroy the Cardinals with a 41-7  win last week and looked as good as they ever have. Matt Ryan had somewhat of a down season last year and it is encouraging to see him playing at a higher level to this point.

Atlanta has won just 1 of their last 7 tries against New Orleans on the road and they will need a better performance this week if they hope to beat the Super Bowl Champions.

With all this said and as well as the Falcons played last week, I am still liking the defending Super Bowl champs -3 at home. Call me crazy, everything points to the Saints here.

NFL MNF Betting Report

The overwhelming majority of tickets and handle has come in on Buffalo -1. Bettors are most likely thinking the Jets are on shaky ground with the recent firing of their head coach. They may also believe that Buffalo is due to get back on track after dropping two straight.
