Over/Under NFL Week 11 Trends

November 19, 2016

For those bettors who like betting the point total pay close attention.

Last week point total bettors ended the week 7-7 and through the first 10 weeks of the NFL regular season the OVER has an advantage of 79-67-1 or 54% of the time.

This week total bettors should be on the lookout for the following.

  • Chicago has scored 20 points or more just one time this season, but the New York Giants have given up an average of 21.6 points a game playing at home this season.
  • The Cardinals have had the UNDER cash in 6 of 9 games, but each of the three OVER cash outs were on the road.
  • Including the OVER last week against Pittsburgh, Dallas has seen the UNDER cash in 8 of its past 10 games versus opponents from the AFC.
  • Two opposites meet this week. Kansas City games have cashed UNDER 7 of 9 times this season, while Tampa Bay games have cashed OVER in 6 of 9 games.
  • Detroit has cashed on the UNDER in each of the past 4 seasons in the game prior to their annual Thanksgiving Day appearance. In those same four games, the Lions are 1-3 straight up.

Divisional Matchups

The Titans play the Colts this week in an AFC South battle. The OVER has cashed in 7 consecutive games for Tennessee, while Indianapolis has seen its games cash on the OVER 7 out of 9 times this season.

The OVER has cashed in 4 of the past 5 games between the two rivals and the OVER has cashed in each of the 6 AFC South matchups this season.

Pittsburgh visits Cleveland in an AFC North showdown on Sunday. The past three games between the two rivals have cashed UNDER and the UNDER has cashed in 8 of the past 10 between the two.

The UNDER has cashed in 6 of the 9 Pittsburgh games this season including 3 of 4 on the road. The UNDER has cashed in the past two games for Cleveland.

The latest weather says there could be snow showers as well as wind gusts reaching as high as 30 mph in Cleveland on Sunday. That helped to knock the point total down on Friday to 45 from Thursday’s 49.5.
