Steelers Very Realistic Odds to Win AFC Championship

Steelers Odds to Win AFC

The Pittsburgh Steelers are 3-0 and playing well. Big Ben is back from last year’s season ending arm injury and he looks good. Very god in fact. Ben is currently completing 70% of his passes and has 10 TD’s vs only 1 INT. His breakout rookie receiver Chase Claypool has 13 catches with 4 TD’s.

The defense isn’t the best they have ever had. They are allowing 21.75 points per game, 138 rushing yards per game & 237 yards per game passing. If they can tighten up a little and start holding teams to under 17 PPG you could easily see a 13-3 or 14-2 Steelers team that not only makes it to the AFC Championship game, but wins it.

Of course the Steelers would have to get past the Ravens and the Chiefs. But The Raiders proved that the Chiefs can be beat this past week. And the Ravens and Steelers are used to doing battle against one another.

This coming weekend is the Browns game for the Steelers. The Browns fans look forward to the two times they face the Steelers every year because they see it as a rivalry. But the Steelers don’t see it as much of a rivalry anymore because they pretty much manhandle the Browns every time they play. Cleveland is 1-8-1 SU in its last 10 games when playing Pittsburgh. Browns fans are hoping the new & improved Browns (which are 4-1) will be able to take it to the Steelers this year. The line on this weekend’s game is Pittsburgh -3.5 at top sportsbooks.

After seeing the Chiefs smash the Ravens earlier this year and then the Raiders handle the Chiefs last week, I think that the Steelers are a realistic threat to win the AFC. They are currently +700 at most sportsbooks. But one sportsbook is offering a special, this week only, of +800. Sportsbetting.ag is offering this “boosted line”. When you log in to their site look for “Oddsbooster” in their main menu. You will find the offering under that section.
