Villanova vs. Creighton Free Pick

We all know how good Villanova is. They are 20-1 and ranked #1 in the country. Tonight they host Creighton (at Wells Fargo Center). The spread currently has Villanova favored by 13 points at top online sportsbooks. It tips off at 6:30 pm EST.
Villanova is 13-7-1 against the spread this season. Their only straight up loss came against Butler. Their wins are mostly from beating up on chump teams but there are some quality wins in there too. They beat then no. 18 Tennessee and then ranked no. 14 Gonzaga.
Creighton is 17-5 SU and 13-9 ATS. Creighton has not beaten a ranked team this year and lost by 17 points to the same Gonzaga team that Nova defeated. But the Bluejays are a tough team and have beaten teams like the upstart Cornhuskers of Nebraska, Seton Hall, Georgetown and Providence, all of which are scrappy teams.
Villanova has owned the Big East as of late. Versus Creighton in particular they have won the last seven games winning by an average of 15 points per game.
The Verdict
Both teams average about 87 PPG on offense. And both allow right around 70 PPG. It is important to note the venue: The last time Creighton played Villanova at the Wells Fargo Center, the Bluejays made their first nine 3-pointers and set a school record with 21 threes and won by 28 points. Creighton is 12-3 SU of their last 15 games. I look for Creighton to give Villanova some trouble and for Nova to pull away at the end but I think Creighton covers the 13 point spread.
