Sportsbook Advisor received an email from a man saying that WagerGator.com ripped him off and won’t pay the more than $2,000 he is owed. Upon further investigation, WagerGator.com is a turnkey outfit that allows bookies elsewhere to take action on-line and keep stats for them. As far as we can tell WagerGator itself does not take on the action, but rather acts as a call center or customer manager for many outside agents.
Sportsbook Advisor strongly urges against players using this type of service. There is simply no recourse for an agent that doesn’t pay. Furthermore, we will class WagerGator.com as a D- Sportsbook but note that it is not a sportsbook in the classic sense. This rating reflects the fact that it takes bets but does not guarantee any payment upon winning. We also emailed WagerGator weeks ago and they have not responded.
