Week 11 College Football Betting Results

Week 11 of the college football regular season is now in the books. Here is a quick review of the betting results.

Favorites for the week were 44-16 straight up and 32-25-3 against the spread. Home teams were 29-31 SU and 22-35-3 ATS. For the week, the Over/Under was 31-28-1.

The three biggest underdogs to win outright were Iowa +24.5 over Michigan 14-13, Pittsburgh +21 over Clemson 43-42 and Louisiana Monroe +13.5 over Georgia State 37-23.

The three biggest favorite that covered were Alabama -28 over Mississippi State 51-3, Ohio State -28 over Maryland 62-3 and Wisconsin -24 over Illinois 48-3.

Alabama won 51-3 over Mississippi State as the Tide did not partake in what is being called “Upset Saturday.” Alabama has covered its past 5 games and is 6-0 SU and 5-1 ATS at home this season.

Penn State won and covered its fifth consecutive game defeating Indiana. The Nittany Lions are on a point scoring surge with 41 points or more in three straight games. The OVER has gone 3-0 in those three games and is 8-2 overall for Penn State this season.

Clemson, Michigan and Washington all lost outright as favorites on Saturday, as six teams in the AP Top 10 lost outright.

However, Wisconsin was not one, as the Badgers beat Illinois 48-3 and are now 6-1 ATS over their last 7 games and 8-2 ATS on the season.

LSU came back from its loss to Alabama last week to beat Arkansas by 28 points. The Tigers are now 4-1 ATS over their last 5 games after beginning the season just 2-2 SU and 0-4 ATS.

Louisville beat Boston College by 45 points as Lamar Jackson the favorite to win the Heisman Trophy accounted for 7 of the Cardinals touchdowns.

Texas A&M lost its second straight game on Saturday when Ole Miss beat the Aggies 29-28. The Aggies have not covered in six straight games and are 1-3 SU over their last four games.

Ole Miss with the win, covered for the first time in its past five games.

Also losing in the top 10 was Auburn as the Tigers were upset in a defensive struggle by Georgia 13-7.
