Trevor Lawrence Drops in Heisman Odds – New Odds Posted

Scott Morris | September 16, 2019
Heisman odds 2019

The Heisman race is always fun for college football fans. Which player will be named college football’s best player is something that intrigues most of us.

Some folks choose to bet on which player will win. The player who wins is not always the one who is favored. Last year, Tua Tagovailoa lead the odds for most of the season, only to end it with a bad performance and losing the Heisman to Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray.

List of previous Heisman Trophy winners

This season, Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence started as the number one overall favorite. And even though he has had some great plays, other players have put together some amazing performances and stats which have elevated them above Lawrence.

Speaking of Tua, he had one amazing performance on Saturday. He went 28-36 and threw for 444 yards, 5 TD’s and no picks. This was against a fellow SEC team (S. Carolina) , it was not against Nowhere State University.

Naturally, Tua is firmly in the lead this year for the Heisman race. Will he lead it all the way until the end and lose it at the eleventh hour again?
