NFL Public Betting Trends for Week 15

December 19, 2020
public betting report for NFL week 15 in 2020

The sportsbooks have been logging action on the NFL games all week long. We have the totals for you to pore over. A lot can be gleaned from the public betting trends and advantage can be had. For instance, if you already like Dallas +3 going into this weekend and you find out that the public is betting San Francisco heavily, this may enhance your confidence levels in that play. Conversely , if you like San Fran, you may back off it now that you know the public is all over it.

The games where both tickets and cash are both over 67% are considered true ATP plays in our opinion. There appear to be many lopsided bets for both tickets and cash this week.

There are a ton of lopsided games this weekend for sportsbook William Hill (who provided these numbers). An ATP bettor will have to throw down on a lot of games. There is probably no way all or even most of the ATP plays will hit. But stranger things have happened.

One rarity we see in these numbers is the Baltimore at Jax game. It has inverse heavy lopsided action on tickets and money. I don’t know exactly what to make of this but maybe the smarter money is on Jax whereas the average Joe is just betting small on Baltimore.
