Bucs vs Cowboys Line Report and Public Betting Trend

September 9, 2021

The game that all NFL fans have been waiting for is here. Tonight the defending Super Bowl champs will take on the Dallas Cowboys. The Bucs look to stay on top and finish out the season with another Super Bowl victory while the Cowboys hope to right the ship that began to sink when its star QB Dak Precott was injured for the 2020 season.

The point spread for this game was issued at Bucs -7 way back when the schedules were released. It then crept down to Tampa -6 as reports came out of Dallas training camp that Dak was a restored to full health and practicing well.

Suddenly, this past week Cowboys Pro Bowl Offensive Lineman Zack Martin was ruled out of the game for having Covid. The line pretty quickly moved to Tampa Bay -8. I cannot recall the last time I saw a line swing two points because of a lineman.

Betting report directly from Intertops sportsbook.

The Bucs -8 spread lasted a couple days until earlier today, when the line moved yet again to Tampa -9. A couple shops, including Intertops have Tampa at -9.5 just 5 hours before kickoff. Although some pick monitor sites are showing even picking on both Dallas and Tampa, we have the inside skinny from the sportsbook itself. At Intertops sportsbook, the bets are being placed to the tune of 76% Bucs and 24% Cowboys. This report was made right before the line movement today.

The bottom line here is that the Cowboys are shaping up to be a great ATP (against the public) play. If you can get Dallas +9.5 and buy the point to +10.5 that would be a huge advantage.

We also have a pick posted for the total as well. Good luck and enjoy the game tonight.
