JazzSports Complaints and Downgrade

March 10, 2024
Jazz sportsbook warning

In keeping with our efforts to help our readers stay aware of any pitfalls which exist or develop in online sports betting, today we are issuing a warning about the JazzSports family of sportsbooks. There have been claims on social media that this outfit is slow-paying its players, which have been confirmed.

The three decade old sportsbook operation, which is located in Costa Rica, appears to be having trouble getting their players paid. Their customer service is blaming this failure simply on a logjam of payments after the Super Bowl. However, the Super Bowl was one month ago and any good sportsbook should be capable of catching up by now.

“Vegas Horse Pools” posted this on X: “Looks like we have an offshore not paying a lot people. “BettorGolfOdds” then responded: “They aren’t paying anyone unfortunately.” They tagged JazzSports in their string of posts to which JazzSport’s social media account responded: “We are experiencing a high volume of withdrawals. Please rest assured that your withdrawals will be processed as quickly as possible. If you need more help, please email our Customer Service team at [email protected].”

You can see the response post here

We are keeping an eye on the situation and are downgrading JazzSports and it’s sister books ABCIslands and LooseLines, at least temporarily, on our sportsbook ratings page until some clarity comes to this situation. If the logjam isn’t cleared soon the downgrade will be permanent and further ratings downgrades will occur if the problems at JazzSports persist.

It is entirely possible they are having problems with payment processors and do have the funds to get everyone paid. However, it is best to be aware and consider that if you make a deposit at this sportsbook, it is a possibility that they won’t pay you if you win.
