It’s down to four teams for the coveted Stanley Cup. Last year’s champion Florida Panthers were able to go into Toronto and dominate the Leafs 6-1 to move on in game 7 last night. Carolina, Edmonton and Dallas were all able to eliminate their competition fairly easily and bought themselves some much-needed rest time in the process.
Tuesday night the semi-finals begin with Forida at Carolina. Florida is tired and stuck on the road for several days now and these factors should work in Carolina’s favor. In fact, we have reported sharp action coming in on Carolina -125 from multiple sportsbooks.
However, even with home arena advantage and more rest, the Hurricanes are underdogs to the reigning champs.

On Wednesday, the Dallas Stars play host to the Edmonton Oilers. Both teams are pretty evenly matched, and the odds reflect that fact. In game one, the Stars are slight favorites (-125/+105). If the games were in Edmonton, you can bet the odds would simply be reversed.
In game one, there has been sharp action reported on Dallas. This series is like the other series in that the road team are slight favorites.
