2025 NFL Passing Yards Leader Betting Odds and Picks

Futures bets are a fun and sometimes profitable way to bet something before the season starts and watch your bet all season long. You can bet futures odds on just about anything these days. The more popular futures odds are players stats and team total wins. You can bet over/under stats leaders for just about any category.
Today we will focus on the passing stat leader for the 2025-26 regular season passing yards leader. This is an exciting wager to place because you get to root for tons of offense every time your chosen player is on the field. And in a modern pass-happy league, rooting for the QB to rack up yards is the right move.
It should come as no surprise that last year’s passing yards leader Joe Burrow is the odds-on favorite to win it this year. In his first real full season in two years, the gunslinger racked up just under 5,000 yards through the air. If he can stay healthy again the sky is the limit.
Speaking of bouncing back from injury, Dak Prescott is expected to be close to 100% after a season cut short by injury last year. In fact, he is tied for Patrick Mahomes on this list at +900. Can Dak get back into form and light up defenses like he did two seasons ago? That year he threw for 4,516 yards and finished in 3rd place behind Jared Goff (4,575) and Tua Tagovailoa (4,624) who lead the league.
So, who is your money on? Personally, I am staying away from guys who are injury prone. These include Tua, Burrow and Dak. Brock Purdy doesn’t really impress me enough to bet money on. So that leaves me backing Goff or Mahomes. Baker Mayfield plays hard-nosed ball but will often take off running and run directly at defenders. It’s admirable but it may also land him on IR. With that said, Goff and Mahomes are the safest bets on this list.
