College Bowl Game Betting Strategy – Bowl Schedule

Every seasoned bettor that is worth a darn has developed his own set of rules that he lives by when attacking a particular betting event. Some of the strategies are very common and others may not be.  My own personal strategy has been the same for the last 6 or 7 years but for mild tweaking. Last year I went 23-12 during bowl season and used this set of rules to get there. Again, this is my own formula that works for me and many not be for everybody:

1. No parlays
2. Minimum $100, Maximum $400 per game (If it’s not worth at least $100 bet then skip it altogether)
3. No basketball
4. No basketball (written twice for emphasis)
5. No “in Game” wagering (live betting)
6. Don’t chase money (bet money on night game just because you lost afternoon game and trying to win it back)
7. No Over/Under Betting
8. Stick with initial instinct. (Don’t talk yourself out of, or into a pick)
9. Be willing to skip day (s)
10. Only bet games where the instinct is strong. Use that gut feeling. If you don’t have it, skip it.
