Aidan Hutchinson Favored to Win DPOY and CPOY
Detroit Lions Defensive End Aidan Hutchinson has been chomping at the bit to get on the field to play in a regular season game again after going down with a season-ending injury last year. This after he suffered a broken tibia and fibula in his lower leg during a Week 6 game against the Dallas Cowboys last season.
To say that AH’s life is football may be an understatement. Ever since he was a small child, he wanted to play football at Michigan just like his dad (Chris) who was an All-American there. Aidan lived up to that dream and not only was an All-American selection, but he was also runner-up for the Heisman Trophy.
Aaidan’s NFL career started off with a bang. He scored 18 sacks as a rookie and was named to a Pro Bowl and to the All Pro team as well. The Lions picked themselves a winner. His second seasons saw a slight decline with 15 registered sacks, but the sky was still the limit. Then last season he went down in week 6 having nabbed 6 sacks for the year. The only silver lining is that it happened early in the season which gave Aidan plenty of time to rehab and be ready for 2025. Now the star player is ready to take the field and dominate opponents once again.
Oddsmakers have taken notice and have installed Hutchinson not only as the comeback player of the year favorite, but also the odds-on favorite to win Defensive Player of the Year. Below we are listing odds for the top few players for both categories.

Aidan Hutchinson 2025 Season Prediction
We ran his stats through the computer and asked it to produce an anticipated stat line for this year. Here is what it came up with:
59 total tackles
15 tackles for loss
16.7 sacks
2 forced fumbles
Not bad.. not bad at all! If he generates these sorts of numbers this season, you can expect him to nab some awards. It’s safe to say that if Aidan wins DPOY he will be a shoo-in for CPOY. If he wins CPOY then he will be a good candidate for DPOY.
